Program Management
As one of the three necessary components to
achieve organizational results, Program Management is how CSM
assists an organization to improve performance and achieve results by
first assessing, then driving capability in the following areas:
-
determine the critical issues
and vulnerabilities of the program, and the specific
impact that program activities must achieve;
-
develop
and oversee plans and strategic initiatives to
produce long-term results;
-
identify and justify required resources and
other support;
-
ensure effective collaboration,
both internally and externally; and
-
ensure oversight, reporting, timely decision making and
accountability.
CSM works with the
organization to create a program management approach that is
tailored to the organization’s specific strengths and weaknesses.
Enhanced program management within the organization then leads to
regular assessments of how the program is progressing so course
corrections can be made when necessary.
CSM also understands that program management
cannot get results by itself. It is just one of the three key
components in the CSM Results Triad.
