National Security
If there is any field where there
is an imperative, where the efforts of those responsible for results
must succeed, it is national security. It is simply a job too
important for failure. The consequences of not succeeding can
have ramifications affecting millions of lives and last for
generations.
Not to denigrate other necessary
and important functions of government, but if federal domestic
agencies do not meet their objectives, there are consequences but
the world does not come to an end. If national security agencies
fail, that consequence is a potential disaster.
The majority of CSM clients in
recent years have serious national security responsibilities
primarily in government, but also in the private sector. They
come to CSM for a variety of reasons but mainly because they
understand that CSM’s imperative is to see them succeed. CSM
does not just consult, we take on their problems and push hard to
set them up to achieve the results they were created to accomplish.
All of our consultants have some of
the most profound national security management experience
obtainable. They have seen national security problems and
successes first hand and understand how a national security
organization must set its direction, obtain and employ its
capabilities, and each has been a leader with national prominence.
