CSM Speakers Bureau

CSM has inaugurated a new leadership program that will bring the highly distinguished speaker, John McKay to your management meetings, conferences, and training activities.  He is an individual who has held a critically important national position in the federal government as a United States Attorney and who has participated in some of the most notable events of recent history.   He will share his stories on Counterterrorism and the War on Drugs with you from the inside so you will know what it was like to have been there.  He also has many practical examples of how his organization was transformed when he embraced the concept of achieving results through the direction, capability, and leadership triad.  His talks give you an opportunity to hear his leadership experiences, the lessons he learned from his unique perspectives and apply them to your own organization.

John McKay, former United States Attorney for the Western District of Washington, will provide background and insight into the United States Attorney firings by former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, including his views on what caused them, and his thoughts for the future.  During his tenure as an United States Attorney in Washington state, he championed the first successful information sharing project to include state, local, and federal data.  He brings insight to building consensus among different agencies and breaking new ground addressing long-standing problems.
