Effective Training

CSM has an exceptional history of developing effective strategic planning, program management, and dynamic leadership training programs.  More recently, CSM has created a portfolio of training courses that apply these fundamental tools to particular subject matter areas such as intelligence, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, law enforcement, and information sharing. 

 

In order to provide pertinent training to our clients, CSM takes a three step approach to training development.

 

  • Full Understanding: CSM reviews strategies and documents, as well as conducts assessments to identify long standing management constraints and organizational performance gaps in order to gain complete and insider understanding of the organization, its personnel, and its environment.

 

  • Tailored Training: With all this gathered information, CSM develops a training program that is completely tailored and customized to the needs of the client organization.

 

  • Tangible Results: Instead of creating an academic exercise, CSM identifies training methods that will focus an organization’s activity on the achievement of tangible results that will facilitate the overall success of the enterprise.

 

CSM’s focus on helping an organization's leadership springs from the belief that there are three factors that combine to create positive measurable results: strategic planning, program management, and effective leadership (see our Results Triad for more  detail). 

 

In addition to specific client focused training, CSM is developing a number of general training courses available online that provide introductory material that will serve as a prerequisite for individuals scheduled for specific client-based training or as stand-alone training for anyone desiring a baseline understanding.
